After completing his studies from Switzerland, Gyamtsho was pursuing his career in the United Kingdom while exploring Europe and getting to know its secrets and its characters.

Inspired by his meetings with people from all walks of life, he wanted to infuse all that he had seen and experienced with the philosophy of GNH and find ways to start a brand of tourism in Bhutan that is sustainable and gives back to the communities. The idea was that people could avoid standardized, soulless destinations and find amazing things for themselves. He has replicated that passion and zeal here in Bhutan with Orog.
