My first trip to Bhutan in March 2024 was with a group of friends. And entirely organised by Orog Travel. From the initial zoom call with GT where we talked about the group’s common interests in history and heritage, to the subsequent follow-ups by Neema, and then with Choki our tour guide, Orog held our hand throughout the trip. Visas, flight ticketing and checkins, hotel stays, vegetarian options, fine dining, vantage spots at the Paro Tsechu festival, comfortable van, even oranges during the climb to Tigers Nest, Orog managed everything- we didn’t have to do much, just had to show up with enthusiasm and respect. Even with our common interests the group members had specific passions. So Orog tweaked the tour to include a visit to a weaver, the Takin reserve, chanting and meditation at a nunnery as well as local farmers market trips. Special shout out to our splendid tour guide Choki Dorji who was knowledgeable, helpful and extremely professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Orog’s services to anyone who wishes to visit Bhutan.
